Prof Lyndon Mason

Prof Lyndon Mason is a consultant foot and ankle surgeon in Liverpool who treats the full range of foot and ankle problems, from bunions, heel pain and arthritis to complex injuries. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers. He has over 30 major research awards in the past 10 years, including the Hunterian Professorship, Robert Jones Gold Medal, Jaques Duparc Prize, EFAS Presidents prize, Arnott Lecturer, Kenneth Johnson lecturer and four-time recipient of the prestigious Chan Chen Memorial Prize. He also holds a National Clinical Impact Award (2023) for improving NHS patient care and is co-lead of the BOFAS registry.
