Prof. Will Drury

Prof. Will Drury is CEO of the Power Networks Demonstration Centre (PNDC) at the University of Strathclyde and a leading PEMD expert. He advances research and commercialisation in power networks, renewable integration, and transport electrification to accelerate the transition to net-zero systems. Previously, as Innovate UK Executive Director for Digital & Technologies, he oversaw investments in AI, semiconductors, quantum, future telecoms, and cybersecurity, and led the Driving the Electric Revolution Challenge to strengthen PEMD supply chains. Earlier at Ricardo, he led power electronics R&D across automotive, rail, marine, and industrial sectors. Will is a Chartered Engineer, IET Fellow, IEEE senior member, and holds a PhD from the University of Bristol.
