Rajarshi Banerjee

Dr Rajarshi Banerjee (Banjo) is a UK-trained physician in internal medicine who developed methods for measuring inflammation and fibrosis with multiparametric MRI, which have made it into clinical guidelines for liver disease and other conditions. He has been involved in many clinical studies for drugs in development for steatohepatitis, sleep apnoea and heart failure, and has balanced a career as a practising clinician, whilst also founding a company that is a healthcare provider and a contract research services organisation for pharma and biotech. For all aspiring clinicians and drug developers, his motto is: Never make decisions based on fear when data gives you truth.
