Raul Suarez

Raúl Suárez holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has completed several management postgraduate programmes at leading business schools, including Columbia, IESE, IMD, IE and ESADE. He began his career at Naturgy in 2000 and has spent his entire professional career in the energy sector, holding various positions in both Europe and Latin America. From 2018 to 2022, he served as CEO of UFD, Naturgy’s electricity distribution company. He is currently CEO of Nedgia, Naturgy’s gas distribution company and the fourth-largest gas distributor in the EU, with 5.5 million connection points. Since 2018, he has served on the boards of the leading European gas and electricity distribution associations and is currently a Board member of the EU DSO Entity.
