Ray Cox

My initial employment was with the Merchant Navy followed by sales positions with major corporations. I then joined Medenta, a specialist finance company serving the Health Professions and I progressed to Group Marketing Manager. The time with Medenta determined my long-term career path as my knowledge of, and working with, the Health Professions increased. After eleven years I helped set up LMS and then joined Schroder Finance where I introduced new initiatives including a programme to build relationships with students. I left Schroders after two years because I felt that the challenges facing each of the Health Professions merited a more business-based level of support and understanding from finance brokers than was being offered. I founded Medifinance, which now has a team of former bank managers specialising in healthcare, to offer knowledgeable, independent guidance.
