Rhod Joyce

Rhod Joyce is Deputy Director of Digital Transformation at NHS England, within the NHS Transformation Directorate. He leads national programmes that accelerate the development, assurance, adoption and scaling of digital technologies across the NHS, helping organisations realise the benefits of innovation safely and at scale. He currently leads the national rollout of Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) across multiple care settings, supporting clinicians to reduce administrative burden, improve productivity and enhance patient care through the safe adoption of AI-enabled technologies. Over his career at NHS England, he has led a broad portfolio of digital transformation and innovation programmes that have improved patient access to services, enhanced the experience of clinicians, and accelerated the safe adoption of technology across the NHS.
