Richard Ahlfeld

Dr. Richard Ahlfeld is SVP of Physical AI at CoreWeave and founder and CEO of Monolith, the AI platform acquired by CoreWeave in 2025 that’s used by the world’s leading automotive, aerospace, and industrial engineering companies. Richard now leads Physical AI at CoreWeave — the full-stack platform behind many of the most advanced programs in robotics, autonomous transport, and industrial digital twins, supporting everyone from frontier AI labs and humanoid robotics startups to the world's largest automotive, aerospace, and industrial companies. With a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and Data Science from Imperial College London, Richard has been recognised across academia and industry, including being named to MIT Technology Review’s Top 10 Innovators Under 35. He was invited as a Research Engineer to NASA, where he worked on the Mars rocket programme, and has been recognised as an Automotive News Europe “Rising Star”.
