Richard Beal

Rich Beal has been working in tourism for over 30 years, beginning his career in Egypt, he has worked in over 45 countries around the world in tour leading, expedition planning, and training local guides & leaders. He now finds himself living full time in Mongolia, leading adventurous travellers across the steppe, through mountains and valleys, and meeting local people. In this talk, Rich will discuss not only his work in Mongolia, but his extensive projects across Central Asia, from the Gateway to Hell in Turkmenistan to the towering mountain passes of the Pamir Highway.
