Rick Kahler, CFP®, MS, ChFC, CCIM is a fee-only financial planner and financial therapist based in Rapid City, South Dakota. Founder of Kahler Financial Group (est. 1981) and a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, he is a co-founder of the Financial Therapy Association and co-originator of the "money scripts" concept. A 2026 FTA Hall of Fame inductee, Rick has been recognized by Investopedia, BusinessWeek, and InvestmentNews as one of the profession’s leading innovators.
