Prof. Rogelio Cruz is Director of the Fetal Medicine Mexico Institute at Guadalajara, México Pioneer of the fetal surgery in Mexico with an experience of more than 1,500 interventions in 14 years. Dr. Cruz has participated in the develop of new fetal surgery procedures such as: fetal endoscopic tracheal intubation (FETI), fetal intravascular embolization of the vein of Galen malformation, fetal urethral meatotomy for megalourethra, microneurosurgery for intrauterine spina bifida repair. More than 100 scientific publications in international Journals with impact factor Young Investigator Award for ISUOG in 2009 (Prague, Czech Republic) Editor of the Fetal Thorax section for VISUOG Associated editor of the following Journals: Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy, Ultrasound Obstetrics and Gynecology and Prenatal Diagnosis National researcher level III in the National System of Research, from the Nacional Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt), Mexico.
