Romain Joubert

Romain Joubert is Senior Director of Discovery at AviadoBio, a London-based gene therapy company developing AAV-based treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. He invented the company's proprietary vMiX platform for miRNA-mediated gene silencing. With over 15 years in gene therapy across academia and industry, including postdoctoral work at Généthon, UCL, and KCL, Romain leads Discovery's pipeline spanning Alzheimer's, ALS, and Parkinson's disease programmes.
