Royal School of Needlework

The RSN is the international centre of excellence for the art of hand embroidery, offering courses from beginners to advanced, online and onsite. The RSN Learning Curves are taught by students on the RSN’s Professional Embroidery Tutor Programme, expert embroiderers who have spent considerable time training to be an RSN Tutor of tomorrow. They have learnt hand embroidery to the highest technical standard, Jacobean Crewelwork, Silk Shading, Goldwork, Canvas, Blackwork, Whitework, Raised Embroidery and many others. In everything they do, they strive for perfection, adhering to the ways of working, which have remained unchanged since the founding of the school in 1872.
