Ruth Simpsons

Ruth Simpson is Co-founder of Simpsons’ Wine Estate in the North Downs of Kent, which she established with her husband Charles in 2012, following more than a decade making award-winning wines at Domaine de Sainte Rose in southern France. Today, Simpsons’ Wine Estate is recognised as one of England’s leading wine producers, creating a highly acclaimed range of exclusively estate-grown still and sparkling wines, that are enjoyed in some of the finest retail and dining establishments in the UK and internationally. Alongside leading the Estate, Ruth plays an active role in shaping the future of the English wine and wider luxury industries. As Deputy Chair of WineGB and a member of the Walpole Luxury Strategy Council, she brings her experience and insight to the continued growth and development of these increasingly influential sectors.
