Savvas Panayiotou

Savvas Panayiotou is the Chief Information Security Officer of National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Ltd, where he leads the Bank’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), cybersecurity governance, cyber-risk management and the continuous improvement of its security posture. He has more than a decade of experience spanning IT audit, information risk management and cybersecurity leadership, primarily within financial services. His expertise includes digital operational resilience, third-party risk, incident management and regulatory compliance. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Advanced Computing. His professional credentials include CISA, CISSP, PMP and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
