Shahar Madar

Shahar Madar is Head of Product, Security at Fireblocks, an enterprise platform to manage digital asset operations and build innovative businesses on the blockchain. He is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Fireblocks platform and ensuring the highest standards of security for all Fireblocks customers. This includes providing customers with full visibility of their day-to-day operations and implementing strong security mechanisms to prevent and detect attacks effectively. With more than 10 years’ experience in cybersecurity R&D and product management leadership, Shahar was previously VP of Product at Paragon, a digital intelligence and mobile security company. Prior to that, he spent eight years in the Israeli Military Intelligence (Unit 8200), eventually leading a team of 20 security researchers in cutting-edge cybersecurity research. Shahar holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
