Shera Chok

Shera is a Non-Executive Director with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, the CEO and founder of the award-winning Shuri Network and the national Community Settings Lead at the National Institute for Health and Care Research. An NHS GP for over 25 years, Shera was also the Chief Medical Officer for NHS Digital and has championed representation in digital health - amplifying the voices of women and ethnic minority leaders in tech-enabled care. Shera has held national leadership roles in integrated care, innovation and system transformation with NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care, advising ministers as a member of the NHS Independent Reconfiguration Panel for seven years. She worked at Barts Health NHS Trust as Director of Primary Care from 2010-2016, helping to improve patient pathways across organisational boundaries.
