Shivam Maini

Shiv is a strategic commissioner with NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, with a particular focus on secondary care commissioning. He works to improve patient outcomes through medicines optimisation, service transformation and delivery of system-wide medicines strategy, bringing together clinical and commissioning expertise to improve quality, reduce unwarranted variation and support sustainable healthcare. With interests in respiratory care and digital medicines, he is particularly interested in how joined-up services, data and digital innovation can improve access to treatment and deliver better outcomes for patients.
