Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), with decades of experience in capital markets, technology, and financial infrastructure. A founding member of NSE, he has been instrumental in shaping India’s modern markets, including screen-based trading, the NIFTY index, derivatives markets, and digital trading platforms. Previously, he served as MD and CEO of BSE Limited and held leadership roles across Reliance Group and other institutions. Recognized globally for his impact on financial markets innovation, he is regarded as a pioneer of modern financial derivatives in India.
