Signe Vedel Borchert

Signe Vedel Borchert is a Research Scientist at Calluna Pharma (formerly Arxx Therapeutics), where she has been part of the team since 2020. She holds a Master of Science (cand.scient.) in Molecular and Medical Biology from Roskilde University, Denmark, and completed an Industrial PhD in January 2026 with a focus on the biology of the protein, S100A4, and the mechanism of action of the therapeutic anti-S100A4 antibody, CAL101. Signe has extensive experience in preclinical drug development, with strong expertise in cell-based assays and in vivo models. Her work centers on elucidating disease mechanisms and advancing antibody-based therapeutics toward clinical development, with a strong emphasis on fibro-inflammatory diseases.
