Simon Emeny

For more than 30 years, Simon Emeny has helped strengthen confidence in the global nuclear industry by ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and independent assurance. His work spans some of the world’s most significant nuclear programmes, from supporting Sizewell B for over three decades to leading independent third-party inspection assurance on Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. His expertise has also supported international projects including Barakah in the UAE and Hanbit in South Korea, helping deliver safe, reliable and trusted nuclear infrastructure. Beyond project delivery, Simon has made a significant contribution to the wider industry through collaboration, technical leadership and knowledge sharing. He contributes to the IAEA Technical Working Group on Nuclear Power Plant Supply Chains (TG2), supports World Nuclear Association and OECD Nuclear Energy Agency supply chain initiatives, and helps shape engineering best practice as Vice Chair of both IMechE Technical Stra
