Sonja Nilsson Hermele

Nilsson Hermele is executive producer and a member of the fiction leadership team at SVT, Sweden’s public service broadcaster. She works across development and production, focusing on strong original ideas, talent and series with broad audience appeal and a clear creative identity. Nilsson Hermele has extensive experience working with production companies, writers, directors and international partners from the early stages of an idea through to production. Her work spans a range of genres and formats, with a particular interest in contemporary stories, strong characters and series that connect with younger and wider audiences. At SVT, she is also involved in shaping the department’s development strategy and exploring international coproduction opportunities. She is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
