Sophie Payne

Dr Sophie Payne has over ten years' experience studying regulatory pathways in endothelial cells at University of Oxford. She is now using this deep knowledge to bring a new perspective to treating inflammation, by targeting the role of the blood vessels in leukocyte recruitment and trafficking. A finalist in the 2025 Oxford Venture Builder programme and the 2026 Nucleate Activator cohort, she is founder of Inflammara Therapeutics, which will be a University of Oxford spinout.
