Stefano Guerriero

Stefano Guerriero is Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cagliari, Italy from 2016 to present. Head of Center of Assisted Reproduction and Diagnostics in Obstet- Gynecology of Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria of Cagliari from January 2020. He is the author of more than 270 papers listed by Scopus. His h-index at May 2026 is 54 (from Scopus). He headed a consensus group for the Systematic approach to sonographic evaluation of the pelvis in women with suspected endometriosis, the “International Deep Endometriosis Analysis (IDEA) group”. Editor of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2011 to 2019) and he is now involved in the Editorial Board of the same journal. He has edited three books for Springer including the "How to Perform Ultrasonography in Endometriosis". Invited speaker in several international congresses around the world.
