Stefano Siviero

Stefano Siviero is Deputy Head of the Directorate General for Markets and Payment Systems at Banca d’Italia and a member of the Markets Committee of the Bank for International Settlements. From 2007 to 2020 he was head of the Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy Directorate of Banca d’Italia and served as a member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the European Central Bank. He has published numerous articles in Italian and international scientific journals, on topics mostly relating to macroeconomic modelling and monetary economics. Stefano Siviero has an MA and a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
