Stuart Edmonds

In recent years Stuart has led Bingham Town FC in dramatically changing its approach to how it maintains and develops its eight pitches so it can ensure it provides the best possible playing surfaces for its 650+ playing members. As part of these developments key integrated successes have also been reducing financial costs while also ensuring financial sustainability and increasing volunteer engagement. Successful and proactive engagement with both GMA support and Football Foundation funding streams have also been key the success. The significant success of Stuart’s work was recognised by him and the club’s volunteers being awarded the FA’s 2026 Grounds Team of the Year at the recent Grassroots Football Awards.
