Surabhi Verma

Dr Verma is a Chief Medical Officer who is passionate about serving the rare disease community and is involved in developing orphan medicines for a dedicated rare disease company. Dr Verma received her medical degree from King’s College, London and a Master’s in Surgical technology from Imperial College, London. She is also a qualified dental surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2019, Dr Verma completed her Global Executive MBA from TRIUM, a partnership of London School of Economics, New York University Stern School of Business and Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), Paris. She was also awarded a distinction in the Global Clinical Research Scholar Training by Harvard Medical School. Following a long and successful surgical career, Dr Verma joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2011. Dr Verma has over a decade of experience in developing orphan medicines and has led successful market authorisations in multiple jurisdicitions.
