Suresh Srinivas

Suresh Srinivas is Co-Founder and CEO of Collate and of the OpenMetadata open source project. He builds systems that make complex, distributed data environments easier to operate at scale, and his work today centres on AI agents that scale data management and context layers for people and AI, so organisations can put their data to work through agentic automation and conversational assistants. Before founding Collate, Suresh was chief architect of Uber's data platform. Earlier he was a founder and vice president of engineering at Hortonworks, a key commercial contributor to Apache Hadoop, and an early engineer at Yahoo!, working on large-scale distributed systems and open source data technologies. He has been an open source contributor for more than twenty years.
