Suresh Vaghjiani

Suresh Vaghjiani is the founder and CEO of CLOWD9, a London-based, B Corp-certified cloud-native issuer processing platform he set up in 2021. He previously co-founded Tribe Payments, serving as CEO from 2018 to 2020, and spent 2015 to 2018 at Global Processing Services (now Thredd), rising from EVP Card Services to Managing Director and Group President. Earlier he led issuing and card services at Optimal Payments (now Paysafe) and was a founding member of Kalixa Payments Group, where he headed Kalixa Pay and worked with Transport for London on early contactless wearables. He sat on the elected advisory board of the Emerging Payments Association (now The Payments Association), the UK Contactless Advisory Committee and the Payment Strategy Forum working group. He won PAY magazine's Industry Achievement Award in 2017, the first non-American recipient, and was ranked No. 1 in the Payments Power 10 in 2018.
