Suzie Boavida

Suzie Boavida co-founded Magic Dust Visual Effects in 2021, a London-based boutique VFX company, with a former DNEG feature film supervisor. As a company, Magic Dust has delivered the full range of CG and VFX for both studio-backed and independent productions. The company recently worked as the lead VFX vendor on both seasons of Outlander: Blood of My Blood and, more recently, as the sole CG vendor on Hungry, a live-action hippo horror feature. Magic Dust also has credits on True Detective, One Piece amongst other productions. Before founding Magic Dust, Suzie worked at Warner Bros., where one of her roles included working with leading economists to support the case for renewing the UK’s film, high-end television, games and animation tax credits. Suzie also holds a medical degree from King’s College London and an MBA from London Business School.
