Taco Rijssemus

Rijssemus is a media strategist specialising in IP and content. He helps broadcasters and production groups understand how new IP is created and how to organise for it in a market reshaped by consolidation, streaming platforms, AI and the creator economy. He has worked on both sides of the industry, in board-level roles at broadcasters and as CEO of production companies. At IDTV, he oversaw the development of The Traitors, and he also led All3Media across Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Rijssemus is a partner at 3Rivers, where he leads the 3Rivers Research Lab, and a fellow at Utrecht University. His book on how global format hits are made will be published in spring 2027.
