Tamara Whipp

With over 25 years of experience across policing and the public sector, Tam is closely connected to the current policing landscape and the workforce demands across frontline and enabling services. Her experience spans across police departments, internal staff associations, executive leadership teams and organisations across the justice sector. She’s been an ally and advocate for the justice sector since she started her career, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand and improve the retention of underrepresented groups in policing, while also supporting their progression and participation. She has held positions as Constable, Sergeant, and Inspector, gaining deep insight into both uniform and non-uniform policing and now works for the Workforce Development Trust as a Consultant in workforce planning, supporting organisations across the justice sector with their workforce challenges.
