Tamsin J Lines

Tamsin is a hand embroidery specialist trained at Lesage and the Métiers d’Art Fellowship with Chanel and the King’s Foundation. She brings a wealth of embroidery expertise, having explored silk shading through numerous bespoke projects and gained almost a decade of experience in couture and runway embroidery at fashion houses including Alexander McQueen. Tamsin takes an experimental approach to traditional embroidery techniques, including silk shading, exploring their application across contemporary and bespoke work. An experienced and engaging workshop tutor, she teaches hand embroidery across London and has earned consistently high feedback from participants in Royal Chou’s silk shading workshops, where her clarity and warmth make even complex techniques approachable for complete beginners.
