Tanya Shaw

Tanya Shaw is an accomplished creative leader and programme maker whose career spans the full spectrum of factual programming. Beginning her career in programme making, she moved into commissioning at Channel 4 and the BBC, where she greenlit acclaimed titles including BAFTA nominated Tsunami: Caught on Camera, Elephant: Life After Death, Food Unwrapped, The Great Interior Design Challenge and several series with Mary Berry, Rick Stein, Raymond Blanc and other high-profile presenters. Before joining Zinc, Tanya was Managing Director of Shine TV, where she led and expanded a slate of successful factual series. Under her leadership, Shine oversaw the continued worldwide growth of MasterChef, alongside returnable hits such as Hunted and The Island with Bear Grylls.
