Thomas Mattinson

Producer with over 40 years’ experience across film, television and video production, now combining feature-film production management with VFX production leadership. Graduated from film school in 1984 and built a career moving from corporate and commercial production into television (documentary, entertainment, children’s and live broadcast), then network drama for the BBC and ITV, and since 2003 feature films as producer, co-producer, line producer and head of production. Co-founded Viridian FX in York following the experimental 100% green-screen feature The Knife That Killed Me (Universal Pictures, 2014). As Company Director he represents the studio as VFX Producer on major productions for Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon, Lionsgate and Paramount, heads its Post-Production division, and continues to develop experimental titles that push the boundaries of visual storytelling in film, television and XR.
