Tom Allerton

Tom Allerton is co-founder of Bitesize Consulting, an outsourced finance firm built specifically for hospitality and consumer goods. He trained as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte before founding Bitesize, which has grown to a team of over 25 people, supporting restaurants, bars, food & drink brands and events businesses across everything from bookkeeping through to fractional FD support. Before qualifying as an accountant, Tom ran his own hospitality businesses, including bars, restaurants and a live music venue, giving him a rare combination of operator experience and technical finance expertise. Over the past year Tom has led the practical adoption of AI across Bitesize, building tools and workflows that support client onboarding, management accounts commentary, VAT review, payroll and pension corrections, and new business development. Rather than treating AI as a bolt on, he's built it into how the firm actually runs day to day.
