Tom Fiennes

Tom Fiennes is Sustainability Director at Carlsberg Britvic, leading the sustainability strategy across climate action, packaging, circularity, water stewardship and social impact. He is responsible for helping drive the company's sustainability ambitions while ensuring sustainability is embedded across commercial and operational decision-making. Tom has played an active role in shaping industry responses to major circular economy reforms, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and the UK's Deposit Return Scheme (DRS). Working closely with trade bodies, policymakers, Exchange for Change and industry partners, he has contributed to discussions on scheme design, implementation readiness and the practical challenges of delivering DRS across the drinks sector. Bringing together sustainability, packaging and policy expertise, Tom offers a producer perspective on how industry can successfully deliver DRS at scale while supporting the transition to a more circular economy.
