Tomás Loureiro

Tomás Loureiro is Senior Director of Global Strategic Intelligence at EDP, where he leads the Group's strategic intelligence and foresight, working closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Committee on corporate strategy and long-term positioning. He also represents the Group in international forums including the World Economic Forum, the International Energy Agency and Eurelectric. Previously, he led EDP's global innovation strategy. Before joining EDP, he served as Director & Chief of Staff to the CEO of Media Capital, leading the company's transformation programme, after spending six years at Boston Consulting Group advising Boards and senior executives on strategy and transformation across Europe and Africa. He writes regularly on strategy, leadership and the energy transition, and holds an Executive MBA from The Lisbon MBA, a joint programme by NOVA SBE and Católica, in partnership with MIT Sloan and ESADE.
