Tommaso Pellegrinelli

Tommaso is a research analyst at Wood Mackenzie, specializing in the ammonia market within the Power and Renewables segment. His responsibilities include providing long-term demand and supply outlooks, price forecasts, policy analysis, and market tracking for both low-carbon and conventional ammonia. He has expertise in traditional ammonia sectors such as fertilizers as well as new applications, including the shipping sector. Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Tommaso worked as an R&D process engineer at Nuada in the UK. In this role, he focused on developing novel CCUS technologies for the biogas and cement sectors, from concept to pilot plants. Tommaso holds a PhD in chemical engineering from Queen’s University Belfast (UK), earned for his research on automotive emission control conducted in collaboration with Ford Motor Company.
