Valentina Chiappa

Valentina Chiappa, MD is a Senior Staff Clinician Scientist in Gynecologic Oncology at Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori (INT), Milan, Italy, where she has worked since 2014. She holds a specialization in Gynecology & Obstetrics from the University of Milan-Bicocca and completed fellowships in gynecologic oncology ultrasound at Gemelli Hospital, Rome, and at Charles University, Prague. Her clinical and research expertise focuses on adnexal mass characterization, gynecologic ultrasound, and AI-based diagnostic tools. She is Board member of SIEOG (Italian Society of Ultrasound in Gynecology and Obstetrics) and Chair of the ISUOG Practice Guidelines on ultrasound in adnexal pathology and ultrasound in uterine pathology and rare conditions. Principal Investigator of multiple national and international studies, she has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications and received several Young Investigator Awards at ISUOG World Congresses.
