Wacef Chowdhury is a Director in the Global Cash Management Sales team for the Americas at Standard Chartered Bank based out of New York. Wacef is responsible for sales origination into Standard Chartered’s core markets in Asia, Africa, and Middle East. He covers US MNCs across different segments and is the Global Transaction Banking Cash Sector Champion for Consumer and Retail. Wacef has been with the bank for over 10 years and has spoken at the AFP last year. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Wacef was with Tigress Financial Partners in wealth management. Before moving to the the US Wacef spent 3 years in Bangladesh covering Ready-Made Garments sector as a Relationship Manager in the Banking industry and brings and international perspective to the dialogue.
