Will Francis

Will leads a newly created team accountable for innovation and accelerating our efforts in digital, AI, operations, external counsel engagement, e-discovery and what we call legal solutions, which is our in-house shared services team. Will joined bp in 2007 and most recently led the P&O legal team from 2022 until 1 April this year. He started his career with bp in the disputes team, with a particular focus on arbitration and helped support our then GC in response to the Deepwater Horizon incident. Following that he moved into the upstream in 2011 and has held various commercial legal and leadership positions supporting the business. Prior to bp he was an Associate in Linklaters Litigation & Arbitration practice.
