Yaasha Hasan

Yaasha Hasan is Group Head of Emerging Technology (AI, Automation & Innovation) at University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) and University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN), where she leads a portfolio of 20+ AI and automation initiatives across clinical and non-clinical workflows. She built the AI and Emerging Technology function from the ground up, including its strategy, operating model, roadmap, and governance framework, establishing an AI Governance Office to embed responsible AI standards across every deployment. Previously, as Deputy Programme Director at the UHN Automation Accelerator, she led automation delivery and customer success across 15+ NHS Trusts. Yaasha brings a cross-functional lens to healthcare delivery, having served as Chief of Staff at surgical AI startup called Scalpel AI and held commercial strategy roles at Gap and Macy's.
