Yang Zhou

Dr Yang Zhou is an R&D scientist specialising in molecular diagnostics for veterinary infectious diseases. At Paw Diagnostics she works on the development of rapid PCR assays designed for in-clinic use. Her background spans RT-qPCR, assay optimisation and regulated diagnostic product development under CE-IVD/IVDR and ISO 13485 frameworks. She has also worked as a research scientist in academic settings, publishing peer-reviewed papers, supporting interdisciplinary biomedical research and scientific coordination. A committed advocate of the One Health approach, Dr Zhou is passionate about how fast and reliable diagnostics can strengthen companion animal care and support evidence-based decision-making in everyday veterinary practice.
