Yanping Guo

Dr Yanping Guo is the Flow Cytometry Translational Technology Platform Manager at the UCL Cancer Institute, where she leads advanced cytometry services supporting cancer research, translational studies and technology-driven discovery. Her work spans conventional and spectral flow cytometry, cell sorting, mass cytometry, high-dimensional panel design, assay optimisation, user training and data quality. Yanping works closely with researchers, clinicians, technical specialists and industry partners to implement emerging single-cell technologies and enable robust, reproducible analysis of complex biological and clinical samples. She has played a key role in expanding cytometry capabilities at UCL, supporting the adoption of spectral and high-parameter platforms, and helping research groups apply these technologies to questions in tumour immunology, cancer biology and translational medicine.
