Yves Desmaris MS is one of the United Kingdom’s most respected wine professionals, bringing more than three decades of experience in fine dining, wine service, wine buying, and hospitality management. A Master Sommelier since 1992, Yves has built a distinguished career working with some of London’s most acclaimed restaurants and hospitality establishments. Originally from Lyon, France, Yves spent his formative years in the Rhône Valley before beginning his professional wine journey at the Stafford Hotel in London in 1988. He later became Head Sommelier at The Dorchester, where he earned the prestigious Master Sommelier title. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside some of the hospitality industry's leading names and has overseen wine programs, sommelier training, and restaurant operations at Michelin-starred and award-winning establishments.
