Aura Yavary

Aura Yavary is an AI innovator, technical lead, researcher, and founder working at the intersection of agentic AI, multimodal foundation models, world models, and autonomous decision-making. Her work focuses on building AI systems that can learn from experience, reason across modalities, interact with real-world environments, and improve through feedback and failure. Her background spans frontier AI research and production systems across academia and industry, including work with UC Davis, UC Berkeley, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Mercedes-Benz R&D. Her technical contributions also include patents, innovation disclosures, and defensive publications across AI and intelligent systems. She is completing her PhD in Computer Science at UC Davis, where her research explores world models and multimodal foundation models for intelligent decision-making.
