Ben Pain

Ben Pain has spent over 25 years working in the audiovisual industry, bringing together a lifelong interest in technology, creativity and live experiences. His background spans technical theatre design and music production, giving him a broad understanding of how people, spaces and technology come together to create memorable events. Since 2012, Ben has been Head of Audio-Visual Resources at the Royal College of Physicians, where he leads AV services and works with colleagues to deliver high-quality events, technical operations and digital experiences. He is passionate about supporting teams, improving services and helping others get the best from audiovisual technology. Ben is also a Steering Committee Lead for the AV User Group and an active member of AVIXA, LTSMG, SCHOMS and AVCF. He enjoys collaborating with peers across the sector, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continued development of the AV profession.
