Bragi Þór Svavarsson

Bragi Þór Svavarsson is Headmaster of Menntaskóli Borgarfjarðar (MB), an upper-secondary school in Iceland. He has led the school through a period of development focused on innovation, interdisciplinary learning and new approaches to teaching and assessment. A key part of this work has been the development of STEAM education at MB, bringing together science, technology, creativity and hands-on learning. Bragi is particularly interested in how small schools can use their size, flexibility and close learning community to drive meaningful educational change and prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
