Cathie Jayakumar

Cathie Jayakumar is the cybersecurity policy and governance manager at Queen Mary University of London. Specialised in cybersecurity governance and AI safety, she leads initiatives around AI governance across her university and has written the first AI guardrails for the institution. She is also the lead for the ITS women in tech network at Queen Mary. Prior to this role, Cathie was an academic at the School of English, pivoted into cybersecurity three years ago.
