Claire Lebarz

Claire Lebarz is CTO at Malt. She joined Malt in September 2022 as VP Data before moving into the role of Chief Data & AI Officer and becoming CTO in February 2025. Prior to that, she spent six years at Airbnb in the data leadership team. She spent over 10 years in San Francisco developing AI products in scale-ups and has worked with dozens of startups as an advisor or business angel. A practitioner of artificial intelligence, Lebarz is drawn to the challenge of building ethical AI in talent acquisition has been guiding Malt on a mission to root out and mitigate bias in the staffing industry.
